Because we are a small family company, we may need a little extra time to get your order shipped out; please allow 3 business days after placing your order before asking us about your shipping status. Can I sell my products to DOMA Trading?
The purpose of DOMA Trading is to provide craftspeople in Croatia with access to an international marketplace. If you are a Croatian artisan located in Croatia and would like us to sell your handmade products, please contact email@example.com.
Can I place an order from outside the US?
While you may place an order from outside the US, e.g. to purchase a gift for a friend or loved one, at this time we are only able to ship to US addresses. For further questions, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Can you find a certain product for me?
At DOMA Trading we are treasure hunters, traveling to Croatian cities and villages to see what special finds might be waiting when we get there. Products will vary by season, location, and availability. If there is an area you would like us to visit, please contact email@example.com.
Do you have anything from my village?
All our products are searchable by region, town, and artisan. If you don’t see your village on the site, let us know! We have a lot of areas to cover, but we can add yours to our list of potential places to explore. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org.

Will you be getting the product I want back in stock?
We endeavor to carry unique, often one-of-a-kind products which are mostly made by hand. Though we will not likely stock an identical product to the one you saw, we hope you’ll find other treasures you like just as much. We do not usually request specific products in advance from our artisans, because we want them to be free to make what they want, at a pace that works for them. However, if you saw something you really love, send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org and we may be able to find something similar on our next buying trip.
I’m unhappy with the product—can I get a refund?
Please note that most of our products are handmade, if not one of a kind. We hope you will love your purchases and appreciate that flaws are a beautiful byproduct of cottage industry manufacturing. We ask that you carefully note item colors and dimensions before placing your order, as we are unable to provide refunds for non-defective items. Please also note that, while we do our best to accurately represent product colors in our photographs, we are unable to control how the colors look on your screen. My item arrived broken—what should I do?
Please send photographs of the broken item, along with detailed photos of the packaging the item was mailed in, to email@example.com within 3 days of delivery. Broken items will be assessed on a case-by-case basis. Because of the unique nature of our products, replacing a broken product with a like item may not be possible, but we will do our best to ensure you are happy with the outcome.
I received the wrong item—what should I do?
If you receive an item you didn’t order or you don’t receive something you ordered, please email firstname.lastname@example.org as soon as possible and within 7 days of order delivery. While we make every effort to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of each order, we are a small (3-person, to be exact) family business and at some point, we will probably make a mistake. If we do, we’ll do our best to make it right.
My order never arrived—what should I do?
Please refer to the tracking details on your shipping confirmation. If the tracking status says that your order has been delivered but you have not received it, please check with your local delivery person/service for possible solutions. If the package still cannot be found, please contact us within 7 days of supposed delivery at email@example.com, and we will troubleshoot with you.
What is DOMA Trading doing to reduce its environmental impact?
We hate trash as much as you do, and we’re doing our best to make our little operation as environmentally friendly as we can—we expect this to be an ongoing process as we grow. From reused or 100% recycled packaging to compostable packing tape, we are endeavoring to minimize our environmental impact as much as possible so you can feel even better about your purchase. Please reuse bags and mailers, and when you need to throw them out, recycle where available. If we all do our little part, it can add up to a big difference!
